$325

A relaxed one-hour session, ideal for couples, families, or individuals who want plenty of variety. We’ll have time for multiple poses, different groupings, and natural in-between moments. You’ll receive 40 edited images in a private online gallery.

Travel Fee & Thumbtack Fee


Travel Fee: Sessions include travel within 20 miles of my home base in Minneapolis, MN. For sessions beyond that distance, a travel fee will apply to help cover time and expenses:


0-20 Miles: Included

21-40 Miles: $25

41-60 Miles: $50

61+ Miles: $75


Note- Sessions requiring travel over 100 miles will be given a custom travel quote based on location and time needed. If you’re unsure which category your location falls into, feel free to reach out and I can confirm the travel fee before booking.


Thumbtack Fee: For sessions booked through Thumbtack, a $30 booking fee will be added to your total. This fee helps cover the service costs associated with the Thumbtack platform and ensures your session date is fully reserved.

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

The number of photos you receive depends on the type of session you book. Each session includes a set number of edited images, which is outlined in the session description. After your shoot, you’ll receive an online gallery with a selection of edited images to choose from. From there, you can download the number of photos included in your package. Additional images are always available for purchase if you fall in love with more!

How should we dress for our session?

I recommend wearing outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident. Neutral and earth-toned colors tend to photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on you—not your clothing. Coordinating (rather than matching) works best for families and couples—think soft tones and textures that complement each other. Try to avoid bright neons, busy patterns, and solid black, as black can appear very dark in natural light and lose detail in photos.

Can I book extra time for longer sessions, like events or custom shoots?

Absolutely! If you need more time for an event, special project, or a custom session, we can extend your shoot beyond the standard hour. The first hour is $325, and each additional hour is $250. Just let me know what you’re planning, and I’ll help you build a session that fits your needs.

Can maternity and newborn photos be done separately outside the Parenthood Collection?

Yes, maternity and newborn sessions can definitely be booked separately. Both can be scheduled as a full one-hour session or a 30-minute mini session, depending on what suits your needs. That said, I highly recommend booking at least a one-hour session for newborn photos—babies need extra time for feeding, soothing, and settling in, and a longer session helps us capture those sweet, quiet moments without feeling rushed.

What if I need more time at my session? Can I request additional time?

Yes! You can request extra time if needed. Additional 30 minutes can be added for $50, depending on my availability. Just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
